I made a painting called Nine Blocks of Mood for a sticker giveaway event I held!
The event was held for celebrating that my Facebook page reached 1,000 like and thanking my fans to repay!

Paper Cut for Mother's Day

Gift of Mother's Day this year is Paper cut!
I always want to try the paper cut, but I got lazy and annoying that I need to find a right color in the store but cannot done by painting one.

But anyway, I was on it this time!
So I bought a bulk of paper, prepared my scissors and glue, and here we go!

I decided to do a scene that my mom goes to the salon, which is the place always make men or women look wonderful!

After 5 days of cutting and gluing, I finally finished!!!

And my mom loves it, so Happy Mother's Day!!!

The hair dryer definitely is my favorite part!

Customized card for a client

So... sorry that I haven't posted anything here for a while.
Somehow I abandoned there. Probably because I didn't see much of visitors; therefore, I got lazy... I know. But the most important thing is that I'm back!!! (Even probably no one cares...)

I probably will spam the few posts to let 'you' catch up the works I have done for the time I have been disappeared from here.

Sorry for the mumbling, I just want to make sure I still have my skill of English writing.

Anyway, back to the topic. I received a case that a student want a customized card for her 3 best friends for memorizing their friendship. So here the dream house she hopes to have with her friends. Chatting, having tea time, playing around.

Poker Heart 5: The Peaches are all mine!

There is an activity in Taiwanese illustration field that asks 53 artists do one of the 53 poker cards (include the joker) to celebrate the Chinese New Year. And luckily, I got a spot!

We also need to choose one of the 12 Animals of the Chinese Zodia into the painting. And what I got is Heart 5, and I picked monkey as my subject.

I used the peach shape to imitate the heart shape.

Well, I don't know why I ended up painting blue hair for the monkey girl, but I guess I need to try something new in my life... YOLO!!

The Sweet Sleep of the Pea Princess

I participated an competition hold by YKH Essential Oils on February. The subject should be about fairy tale with animal character(s) and the natural source of essential oil.

Since I've already known that I failed to be chosen in that competition, it doesn't matter that I publish this painting, right?

Well, I chose to do the Princess and the Pea as my subject. We know the Princess in that story has a very sensitive body that can feels the little pea through 20 mattresses. And my concept is using the orange essential oil to help the princess to sleep tight at night.

Even though I didn't make it in the competition, this painting was still an enjoyable piece during the process.

I personally think the cat princess is so adorable and pretty! <3

Sing with me when you hear the Birthday Song~ (birthday card)

Well, I haven't done watercolor piece for a long long while. I god damn miss watercolor!!
Lots of thing are going on and I just can't handle them at the same time.

Anyway, let's talk about the concept of this card.
It is inspired by the legend of Pied Piper of Hamelin. 
My concept is that when the girl Tina sings the Birthday song, all animals will follow her
unconsciously. Just like what Pied Piper did to the children, except this is a happy version with various animals.

Attack on Poodle Dogs

Well, sorry that I haven't done much personal work recently.
Here's a new painting for a friend. The idea is based on and revised from an incident what my friend ran into.

I think the title has explained what happened, so I don't need to explain more! XD

I tried to use Photoshop instead of Illustrator which I used to use. I hope to add a paint brush texture into the painting.
