Cactus and Moon Festival

I bought a cactus last week and named it Mei.
I'm really excited to see its growth. Hope it will survive under my hand...

I really want to have a pet, but I am afraid that I don't have the ability to take care one. Therefore, I decided to paint myself a cat, which is inspired by my cactus.

And by the way, it's Chinese Moon Festival Holiday this week.
The News said that cause the coming typhoon, people live in Taiwan may not see the moon on the Moon Festival. Therefore, I painted this piece that I hang up a ball with a fishing rod to instead the Moon that we may not see.
Happy Moon Festival!!!

p.s. My cactus cat is with me~~~ :D

Fan art for Fausts Alptraum

I want to try something new.
This is a fan art for Fausts Alptraum (an Taiwanese RPG game)... and I noticed that I've never done an fan art before!!!@@ And... My last digital artwork was done on last December, half years ago?!!!

This is Elizabeth, the main character of the game. There are three special secret clothing for the people who gave high funding support when the game was in the process of making. They are The Little Match Girl, Cinderella, and Alice in wonderland version. And in this case, I decided to create a new fairy tale clothing for Elizabeth, which is the Little red riding hood version!

My sister asked me to add an axe or a French baguette as a weapon.
So I did both!

Don't Worry, I gotcha! (birthday card)

Here's the birthday card for my best ex-roommate plus best friend!
Well, she is a really good girl; unfortunately, she is still single. Therefore, I painted an imitation about how my friend will meet her TRUE~ LOVE~~~!!!XDD
In the library!XD

So this is how the story goes.
Linde, my lovely friend, was looking for reference for her assignment, and carried all related books at once. She slightly slipped when she took a turn on a corner, and the books were almost going to fall. An handsome guy showed up and saved her day. 'Don't worry, I gotcha!' he said.
And my friend fall in love, and they will be in relationship, and will get married, and will be happy ever after, Pin said. XD

I added some magic of Photoshop effect for this piece!

And of course, I didn't forget to include my noted birthday greeting into the card!
Because I focused on the theme of this piece more this time, the greeting is really subtle. This is where the secret greeting is hid.

Detective Conan

One of my friends gave me a really adorable make up headband of Kiki's Delivery Service as a birthday gift. Somehow I put it on my neck and took a photo with wearing black frame glasses.
My another friend saw the photo and told me that I look like the Detective Conan in that photo. And it just gave me the idea to paint myself as the Detective Conan!XD
Here the result!

Peter Pin

Peter Pin is coming to take one of her best friends to the Neverlands for her birthday!!!

You've Never been Alone

I painted this for a non-commercial event, which topic is Dragon!
We need to hand out the introduction for our dragon too, so here it is:

The Dragon had his duty to protect the forest, but at the same time, he also wanted to be friend with the human. However, human was terrified and would yelled at him whenever they run into him. He has always been upset when that happened, but the forest and its inhabitant would come to cheer him up at that time.
'You've never been alone,' they said.
This is a story of a Dragon in forest.

And here are the picture of work in process!

Presidents+1 (Birthday Card)

Once again, birthday card!!!
The birthday girl this time is a special miracle to me! She survived from a fatal disease!
Therefore, I came up this idea that she is as important as the Presidents which are carved on the Mount Rushmore National Memorial in the United States!
Presidents+1 !!!

I always want to try the paper cut, but I got lazy and annoying that I need to find a right color in the store but cannot done by painting one.
But anyway, I was on it this time!
So I bought a bulk of paper, prepared my scissors and glue, and here we go!
